Monumental Prayers

MONUMENTAL PRAYERS:
14 DAYS OF PRAYER INSPIRED BY
THE FAITH OF THE PILGRIMS

The Pilgrims who sailed to America onboard the Mayflower left a rich legacy of Christian faith and zeal for God's kingdom. In Monumental Prayers, the story of the Pilgrims is viewed through the symbolism of the Forefathers Monument in Plymouth, Massachusetts, dedicated in 1889 to honor their labors, sacrifices, and sufferings for the cause of civil and religious liberty. By examining how God used this small group of believers to change history, Monumental Prayers invites you to contend for a spiritual legacy in your family, city, and nation.

In this 14-day study, reflect on topics such as Faith, Morality, Law, Mercy, Education, Wisdom, Tyranny, and Liberty — learn how the Pilgrim’s faith enabled them to endure trials and joyfully serve God in an often-hostile world. As individuals, church members, and citizens of Plymouth Colony, discover how God used a group of ordinary people to impact a nation — and how He can use you, too!

WHAT ARE PEOPLE SAYING?

I received the book yesterday. Oh my. This is so beautifully done. The images, the wording, and how the fonts are done. Just lovely. The historical content and the leading in prayer are insightful and heartfelt without being overly liturgical.  There is freedom in self-expressed, spirit-led prayer as you read and pray along. I am moved to tears reading Gov. Bradford's words. Thank you!
